The 2025 Hankook Shanghai E-Prix delivered all the energy and excitement of elite electric motorsport — and for us at EventLink Logistics, it marked a major milestone: our first time working on a Formula E event. Being based trackside in the exclusive Emotion Club, we had the privilege of supporting one of the world’s most innovative racing series from the heart of the action.

A New Chapter: Supporting Formula E for the First Time

Formula E’s mission around innovation, sustainability and world-class experience resonates with our approach to event logistics and guest services. As first-time collaborators, we were proud to support the delivery of premium experiences in Shanghai, ensuring seamless service, guest coordination and logistics support within the Emotion Club, Formula E’s most elevated hospitality offering.

Being immersed in the Emotion Club gave us a unique perspective on how this particular high-performance sport meets luxury hospitality — from gourmet menus and private pit lane access to curated driver meet-and-greets and VIP track views.

Not only that, but we have the privilege of being tasked with looking after Formula E’s elite personnel including the Founder, CEO, FIA delegates and others. Talk about introduction to the sport!

Double-Header Action at the Shanghai International Circuit

The event itself — Rounds 10 and 11 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship — was held at the iconic Shanghai International Circuit, marking Formula E’s return to China and thrilling fans over a two-day double-header.

Round 10 Highlights: DS Penske’s Historic 1-2 Finish

  • DS Penske secured their first-ever team 1-2 finish with Maximilian Günther leading the pack and Jean-Éric Vergne storming through the field.

  • McLaren rookie Taylor Barnard made headlines with a podium finish.

Round 11 Highlights: Nick Cassidy Dominates in the Rain

  • After a weather-adjusted start, Nick Cassidy (Jaguar TCS Racing) took the win in wet conditions.

  • Pascal Wehrlein and António Félix da Costa rounded out the podium for TAG Heuer Porsche, keeping the title fight alive.

Our Key Takeaways from Shanghai

Working from within the Emotion Club gave us front-row insight into how a globally renowned electric race is brought to life — from sponsor activations to international guest management and world-class hospitality.

We’re excited to grow our presence in the world of Formula E and look forward to more races, more cities, and more electrifying experiences to come.
